Perrin's storyline is pretty boring so far, but tbh, that's not much different than the entire series outside of book 1 and book 10-12.
Perrin was Jon "I dunt wunt it" Snow before Jon Snow. And just as boring
Lol, I got a chuckle.
Given they have already taken creative liberties with a lot of stuff, they are not beholden to the same story arc/characterization for Perrin as what the book has. The actor just screams monotonous to me.
As for Egwene, I don't get the "poise" at all that Egwene had from the start in the books, from what I recall. Any of y'all have similar thoughts on that?
It's been a while since my last read, but I didn't get the poise stuff with Egwene until later on
when she goes off into the wastes, and especially not until she comes back and starts taking beatings every day from the Red mistress of novices, can't remember her name.Tbh, I understand why they brought in the Nynaeve / Lan stuff in as early as they did, but I think it was a detriment to Egwyne, as it seems like they are merging her story with Nynaeve's and then not giving her anything to do other than be her sidekick.
I think the Elayne casting is perfect.
